“There are mainly two things that move me and keep me inspired: human connection and the ocean.
I adore and live for the love and closeness I feel towards my family and friends. I’ve been married for 17 years and have two children, a 14 year old girl and a 13 year old boy who make me the most proud, albeit exhausted, mom ever. And the ocean… the ocean is my cure for everything bad and my celebration of everything good. So there’s no surprise most of my photography revolves around those themes. I’ve been photographing people’s connection since 2006, and many images have been made at the beach.
I’m so excited to share my experience in making images that tell a story, evoke emotion, and reflect character. I hope you join me on this journey. :)”
Mali Workman calls Southern California home, but lives (and works) for traveling. If you can’t find her working or cheering on her kids’ sports, she’s probably on the beach, doing yoga, or stand up paddle boarding… at the beach.
