Absolutely! We have students who take multiple classes at a time each block. Every class differs, but we suggest students carve out 3-5 hours a week to invest in their class in order to get the full experience.

Blocks are offered in January, March, May, September and November.

Some of our classes fill up in minutes while others fill up slower. For this reason, it’s impossible to give you an exact answer.

We encourage you to be ready when registration opens at 12 p.m. EST and snag a seat as soon as possible. This way you have the best chance to get a seat in the class you desire to take.

No, DEFINE was created to serve students living in any time zone with any type of daily schedule.

We want our students to have the very best opportunity and experience in their class. Each student is critiqued on their individual work, as they contribute to the class, turn in assignments, and learn. Each class is offered and designed for one student at a time so that focused attention is given and the student’s learning experience 100% effective. Therefore one seat cannot be purchased for two or more people.

Questions about registration

Once registration opens you simply click on the class you would like to take, click “add to shopping bag” and checkout like you would on any e-commerce site. We use Paypal to handle transfer of money so you can use any major credit card or your Paypal account. You do not have to have a Paypal account to pay for your class.

Once you have paid you will be emailed a payment confirmation. This serves as the confirmation for both you and us that you have paid in full and are officially enrolled in your chosen class(es).

The week prior to your class’ start date you will receive an email from DEFINE with tips on making the most of your experience as student.

The weekend prior to your class’ start date you will receive an email from your teacher(s) with a Getting Started Guide on how to get logged into your class’ forum.

Registration is the portal that leads into an amazing adventure with DEFINE. We have excellent staff who are standing ready to help you through the process. If you have any questions or concerns you may contact us anytime at info@thedefineschool.com.

You may use your Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover, or PayPal account to register.

Our classes always open for registration on Mondays at 12 PM (noon) EST. If you live in a different time zone and don’t know when that is, try a time zone converter like this one.

We offer our classes on a first come first served basis. However, if you are unable to be near your computer at 12 noon EST to register we suggest asking a friend to register for you.

Yes, our alumni may register at 11:00am EST, one hour before new students have access to registration.

Assuming you have the equipment and materials needed for your class, you are ready for your new adventure. If you have any questions or concerns we would encourage you to email us at info@thedefineschool.com.

You will receive a confirmation of your payment to the email account you used when creating your account.

Once you’ve added your chosen class(es) to your shopping cart, click over to your cart and there you will see where you can insert your coupon code.

Whether you were ready at noon and just didn’t get a spot or you missed the day all together, we know it can be a big disappointment. Our intimate classes are one of the biggest ways DEFINE is different. Limiting the number of seats in each class gives you the absolute best experience with your teacher and classmates. If you miss out this round, check when the next class will be available and mark your calendar. We look forward to having you join our community!

Questions about classes post-registration

As we are sure you are aware, important emails occasionally get eaten by our spam or junk folders or filed away by Google’s automatic folders labeled “promotions” or the like. We suggest you first check there for any mail you may be missing. If it’s not found, please email us at info@thedefineschool.com and we will get you taken care of in a timely manner.

Questions about Payments, Refunds, Gift Cards and Coupon Codes

Yes, you can get a refund for your class, under the following policy guidelines:

“No refunds will be issued after the first lesson has been emailed. If a student must withdraw from a class prior to the first lesson being emailed out, the cost of the class will be refunded, less a $50 withdrawal fee per class. This means a student registering for more than one class will pay a withdrawal fee of $50 per class.
By registering for a class and paying the registration fee, you acknowledge that you have read and consent to these terms of use and the general thedefineschool.com privacy policy.”

Yes, we are able to process gift certificates for you. Please contact info@thedefineschool.com and let us know you would like to purchase a gift certificate and for how much. Once we receive your email we will send you a PayPal invoice for the gift certificate amount. Once paid, we will then issue you a unique coupon code for whomever will receive your thoughtful gift.

Yes. We want our students to have only the happiest of experiences at DEFINE. If you participated in class by actively asking questions and engaging in discussions and turned in homework for at least three weeks and feel that the material you received or the interactions from your teacher was not what you were expecting, please email us at info@thedefineschool.com and we will refund you in full. Please note: we will only issue full refunds if you were an active participant for at minimum the first three weeks of class.

Questions about the Forum

If it is a technical issue, email us at info@thedefineschool.com and we will get you taken care of as soon as possible.

Typically forums are archived the week following the last week of class, but we suggest you ask your teacher for the most accurate answer.

On the login page click “lost password” to be emailed a new password.
