Teacher Mali Workman
It's likely that you've taken a great shot at the beach at some point, but for many photographers, those are happy accidents. Beach lighting can be intimidating and tricky, even for seasoned photographers. Can you consistently create the images you dream of? In this 3-week class, you will learn the variables that go into capturing a great beach image as well as how to intentionally make it happen.
Teacher Mali Workman regularly photographs families on the beaches of Orange County, California and captures her own family on beaches around the world. Her years of experience and understanding of beach lighting will change the way you shoot.
You will learn how to work with natural light at the beach, both by taking advantage of the “golden hour” and working around the challenges of bright, harsh light. You will also explore camera settings and creativity in composition, movement, and emotion to make images with impact.
Whether you are a beach lover who wants to document experiences, a parent trying to document family time, or a pro looking to improve consistency in beach shots, this class is designed to take your photography to the next level.
